It all started with us trying to find ways to test getting in just at the start of a pump or dump in Bitcoin price.. We were thinking: it would be great to ride a $200 candle up or down.. and so the initial version of a bot was created. This worked on Binance, and would do buy/sell between USDT and BTC. Eventually, we added alts with the same concept..
But we didn’t want to stop there, what if we could do the same with some of the exchanges out there such as Bitmex. But after running into connection failures when the market was really going wild, we tried Deribit. and hit it there! Deribit provided a quick response on buy/sell positions and worked each time pretty well, even if there was extreme volatility…
So, before we knew it, we were churning the major market moves with longs and shorts just as the price would take off or dump.. as seen here..

We co-located our servers right where Deribit has their exchange for minimum latency and had a bot running there, and Nitro Crypto Bot (NC Bot) was born!
